Candles…how can one live without them? I love the new fragrances fruit, herbs, florals. The clear glass allowing the color to shine through this Recycled Wine Bottle is simply lovely. This particular candle was a request from one of my dearest customers.
Blackberry Sage topped with dried Sage, Lavender, Rosemary, and real dried Strawflowers. It was hand cut and hand sanded by myself…a very difficult and unpredictable craft. I love my Recycled Wine Bottle Collection and that is for another Blog in and of itself. Of course, she loved it! I loved it so much I am going to make one for myself.
All of my candles are 100% Soy for a cleaner burn, Hand Poured by myself, and triple scented according to regulations for a scent throw without even lighting the candle.
Wait I’ve got too many Candles said no one ever! Oh My!! I have a housefull of them!!
The windowed Rose Gold screw top lid are perfect for the Bougie de Fleurs Sauvages Collection. That is French for Wildflower Candle. The pale yellow or cream colored are a delicate floral Daisy Chain topped with dried Calendula petals and Jasmine buds. The blue are Blueberry Danish topped with dried Cornflower petals and Jasmine buds. The pink is Cabernet Sauvignon topped with dried Cornflower petals, Calendula petals, and Jasmine buds as well. How lovely is that?
Look at how a single candle can both defy & define darkness. ~Anne Franke
I love making these candles..they make my heart smile. I pray over all of them. May God’s presence follow them as they are rehomed. May He bring spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, financial, and relational blessings to all that that reside there. Garden District Soapery…this is therapy.
Just as a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life. There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it. We are not here to curse the darkness, but to light the candle that can guide us through that darkness to a safe and sane future.~John F. Kennedy
